Electrical Engineer

  1) Successfully completed studies in field of Electrical Engineering or Vehicle Technologies
  2) Experience in developing and controlling electrical drive systems and/or automotive sector is desirable
  3) Flexible, stress-resistant, collaborative and communicative
  4) Dealing with complex tasks in interdisciplinary teams
  5) Independent and creative way of working
  6) Good knowledge of MS Office
  7) Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English

Responsibilities

1) Design and development of custom substrate for Display or lighting solutions in automotives
2) Material Selection and Specification definition as per the customer and market requirements – Propose display technologies with concept designs as per the customer ask
Simplification of design for DFM, DFA & value addition.
3) Perform calculations to arrive at required test plan methodology for AVPs for Opto Mechanical Application and Electro Mechanical Assembly
4) Participate in Prototyping trials and testing measurements to validate the design and process specification
5) Perform measurement studies by analyzing regulatory needs to check performance of parts produced as per the required specifications and quality in industrial scale.
6) Able to perform DFMEA and PFMEA and propose improvements in specification
7) Regular exchanges with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to discuss new product ideas
8) Work extensively with suppliers and manufacturing partners to synergize the capabilities and develop new products.
8) Conducting technology assessment, Benchmarking the existing commercial products to enhance functionality or reduce costs by bringing rich innovative ideas
10) Ability to work in a diverse group and contribute technically.
11) To use different problem-solving techniques and make sound decisions.
12) Adapt and collaborate with different competency groups for projects.

Under General Supervision

Under general supervision applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools to design hardware, electronic circuits, control systems or algorithms for product changes and new development. Uses software tools or applications to perform routine analysis to predict performance of electronic circuits or control systems and identifies design improvements by evaluating results. Contributes in reliability analysis such as risk assessments and Failure Mode Effects Analysis by compiling and examining data. Identifies the testing requirement at a system level with the emphasis on complying with test standards and Halliburton’s Health, Safety, and Environment procedures. Contributes to Halliburton’s Intellectual Property portfolio by preparing Invention Disclosures and recognizing ideas that have Intellectual Property potential without disclosing confidential information. Coordinates with project leads to produce project deliverables by assessing input requirements and applying functional specifications. Develops relationships through excellent communication skills and acts as a key resource to provide innovative solutions.

  1. Has very good Electrical Knowledge in Power and Control Systems.
  2. Knowledge of drawing tools like E-Plan Electric P8 & AutoCAD.
  3. Able to specify components for use in control cabinets and components into power circuits, control circuits, and communication networks, including field materials.
  4. Able to integrate and specify Siemens PLC Hardware, Profibus, Profinet & ASi Networks.
  5. Detailed electrical drawings such as Power Calculation, Cable Calculation and Tray System, BOM, Power distribution.
  6. Solve electrical design problems, and develop solutions based on product requirements and organizational standards.
  7. Understanding of international standards such as UL, IEC.
  8. Knowledge of concepts and requirements of Machine Design Safety standards.
  9. Interact with stakeholders, team members and cross functional team across the world and develop a professional relationship therein.
  10. Able to work in team, takes ownership, has very high drive to win & eager to learn.
