Introduction:

The TESLA TMTS series is designed for testing 6FRA 6068 and 6FXA 7059 AC Traction Motors for the following mentioned tests.

  1. Open circuit Test for No Load Losses
  2. Short circuit Test for Load Losses
  3. Over Fluxing Test for Temperature rise.

Other than the above, it can be used for Light run test of the above machines. Test set up for 6FRA 6068 and 6FXA 7059 AC Traction motors have the following basic equipments. Main Input Panel and LT APFC Panel, Continuously variable Auto Transformer,Voltage Booster Transformer, H.T Capacitor Panel, Metering Panel & Test Bench.

Features:-

  • Specifically designed and manufactured only for testing of the above mentioned motors as per the relevant Test schedule.
  • Provision of Main Input panel and LT APFC Panel to l receive power from stabilized mains supply and delivers the power to continuously variable Auto Transformer.
  • Continuously variable Auto Transformer is provided for starting the motor as well as obtaining the required test voltages and test current values as mentioned in Test specifications.
  • Booster Transformer is provided for boosting the  voltage to required value at different tapings
  • Provision of HT Capacitor Panel to improves the Load power factor by compensating for the inductive load.
  • Maximum Input Power required for this test set up is 100kVA
  • This set up is easily maintainable and no complication. All spares are easily available in local market.
